Doctors Gave Me (so long to live)

You often read in the media, how our beloved superstars and celebrities have overcome adversity....

Doctors gave me X amount of time to live.

Doctors gave me a 10% chance of survival.

Doctors gave me a thousand to one chance of life.

The stories nearly all end up like this....

And here I am thirty years later to tell the story.

When I read articles and stories of this type, I don't normally praise the celebrity or superstar for overcoming their adversity, what I normally say to myself.

"What a crappy Doctor"

or

"The Doctors got it wrong again"

or

"Another misdiagnosis"


Am I the only person that thinks in this way?

Somtimes doctors are completely wrong and they do tell people the wrong information but when you get cases were somone has been to 10 doctors and they are still saying the same thing and the person lives alot longer then what all doctors have said then my opinion is somtimes you do get what you call specail cases.
